Bid Writer required in Essex

GVR Solutions are currently representing a very well established main contractor, based in Essex, who are actively in the market for a Bid Writer to join their preconstruction team.

Our client are a Main contractor who work on a range of refurbishment and fit out projects in the Education, Healthcare, Commercial and Blue light sector with projects ranging up to 4m.

Key responsibilities for the Bid Writer:

  • Research, write and edit clear, concise and engaging content for bids and proposals
  • Coordinate input from technical and operational teams
  • Work closely with the Bid Coordinator to meet submission deadlines
  • Tailor responses to meet client needs, frameworks, and sector requirements
  • Maintain and develop a library of case studies and boilerplate content

Requirements for the Bid Writer opportunity:

  • Proven experience in bid writing within the construction industry (ideally in Healthcare or Education) or working on Framework contracts
  • Strong written communication and storytelling skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset
  • Understanding of public sector procurement processes (desirable)
  • Bonus points for ChatGPT / AI tool experience
