Experienced Bid Writer Opportunity at a Progressive Water Industry Contractor

What You'll Be Doing

Reporting to the Bid Manager, you will need specialist water industry and environmental engineering experience to develop and write Pre-Qualification Questionnaires and tender responses across various services. You will ensure the technical quality and clarity of each bid, making sure documentation and presentations are compelling and concise.

Who We're Looking For

While attitude is more important than qualifications, you must be an experienced, highly organized, self-motivated bid writer capable of working in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, approachability, and a proactive attitude are essential. You should be able to take ownership of bid responses and produce winning content.

Responsibilities

• Develop persuasive bids and proposals for water industry projects
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather technical insights
• Tailor content to address industry challenges and client needs
• Ensure timely submission of high-quality bid documents
• Maintain proficient writing skills and sector understanding
• Handle multiple bid projects with a deadline-driven approach
• Work effectively within a team and communicate clearly
• Familiarity with water industry bid processes is essential
