INFORM3 Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a Main Contractor for:

Job Title – Bid Writer

Project – Commercial Projects

Job Location – Belfast

Salary – £40K - £50K BOE

The Company:

A very Busy Contractor in Northern Ireland who specialise in restoration and commercial Fit Out Projects across Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland have a requirement for a Bid Writer to join their team.

They are extremely busy, and have secured multiple new contracts across Northern Ireland the Republic of Ireland.

They require a strong Bid Writer with experience working on a range of commercial projects assisting the bid / tender responses and carrying out Bid Management duties when required. You will be working closely alongside the Commercial team where develop your knowledge.

The Role:

  • Assisting the bid/tender responses and ensuring all requirements from employers’ requirements, site surveys, site meetings, client feedback, method statements and programmes are communicated effectively to the relevant team.
  • Maintain registrations with appropriate authorities/bodies to ensure receipt of relevant EOI’s PQQ’s and tender notifications.
  • Manage the review of portals for tender opportunities which are aligned to the sales and marketing opportunities and allocate leads to relevant team members.
  • Complete the required documentation and ensure submission within the required timescales.
  • Maintaining excellent internal relationships, understanding who to go to in order to gather relevant information and ensuring that good relations are kept with key individuals
  • Monitor and evaluate the success rates and conversions.
  • Maintain an effective archive structure for past submissions, continually enriching the bid information library as a key resource.
  • Manage the PQQ process including updating libraries, obtaining feedback and leading the continuous improvement process.
  • Extend business through desk research, customer feedback, client debriefs and post contract appraisals.
  • Co-ordinate with the wider team to successfully close orders

Requirements:

  • Third Level Qualification in a related industry.
  • Previous bid writing experience in the construction.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Great communication skills both verbal and written.
  • 4+ Years’ experience.
  • Team Player.
