The Bid & Proposal Coordinator will be responsible for managing the end-to-end bid process, ensuring that all proposals are compliant, compelling, and delivered on time. This role involves coordinating with various departments, gathering necessary information, and producing high-quality proposals that align with Interocean's strategic goals and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bid Management:Lead,monitor and trackthe bid process from initial enquiry to submission, ensuring all deadlines are met and proposals areaccurate andof the highest quality.
- Proposal Development:Develop and write proposals, including executive summaries, technical responses, and pricing sections, ensuring they are tailored to the client's requirements.Assist in the development and implementation of bid and proposal strategies.
- Coordination:Work closely with the Commercial, Technical, and Legal teams to gather necessary information and ensure all aspects of the proposal are accurate and complete.
- Compliance:Ensure all proposals comply with client requirements and internal standards, including legal and financial regulations.
- Review and Edit:Review and edit proposals for clarity, grammar, and overall quality, ensuring a professional and polished final product.
- Client Interaction:Liaise with clients to clarify requirements, answer questions, and provide updates on the proposal status.
- Documentation:Maintain accurate records and documentation for all bids and proposals. Build upa repository of proposal templates, past proposals, and other relevant documents to streamline the bid process.
- Reporting:Provide regular updates to the Commercial Manager on the status of ongoing bids and proposals.
Qualifications:
- Education:Bachelor’s degree(or equivalent) in Business Administration, Project Management, BusinessCommunications, or a related field.Alternatively specific related work experience can be considered.
- Preferred Qualification:Holding a Bid/Proposal Professional Certification, such as those offered by the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP),or working towardsone is preferred.
- Experience:Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in bid and proposal management, preferably in the marine or energy sector.
- Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
