The role of bid and proposal professionals is vital to how businesses win work.

During your apprenticeship, you will develop commercial capabilities valuable across all sectors. You will support the full proposal process—from initial interest, coordinating pursuit activities, responses to pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQ), to final tender documentation submission.

You will assist stakeholders in ensuring quality and timely proposal submissions—organizing meetings, structuring and writing content, coordinating activities, and managing documents.

Upon completing the apprenticeship, individuals will be eligible for membership of the Association of Bid and Proposal Management Professionals (APMP).

Topics covered include:

  • Using bid software
  • The bid lifecycle and its application
  • Roles and responsibilities of the bid team
  • Using CRM tools and knowledge libraries
  • Proofreading and editing proposals
  • Creating bid resource plans and compliance matrices
