A community development organization is seeking a Burnley Business Improvement District (BID) Project Manager to enhance the town's profile and deliver ambitious projects in collaboration with local businesses and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills and have experience in project management. This role offers a competitive salary with hybrid working options.
Salary: £34,408 – £37,878 per year
Full Time: 36.25 hours per week
Base: Hybrid – Office/Home Based
Location: Principal place of work in Burnley, with occasional travel to other sites to support team activities. May involve other projects across the Trust’s operational area.Permanent Contract

We are recruiting a Burnley Business Improvement District (BID) Project Manager to join our successful business team. The role involves managing relationships with partners, stakeholders, clients, and suppliers to achieve the aims and objectives outlined in the Burnley BID business plan.
This includes working with the Burnley business community and Burnley Council to enhance the town’s profile through marketing and communication strategies, delivering place-based events and festivals, implementing image and safety improvement projects to enhance the visitor experience, providing business support to local companies and organizations, and attracting inward investment.
Groundwork manages nine successful BID programmes across the North West region, supporting business parks, town centres, and local authorities in implementing BID projects. We have a proven track record of delivering transformational projects that positively impact trading environments.
The role is part of a broader team employed by Groundwork, including HR, finance, ICT, project coordination, and business management staff, to facilitate the delivery of business projects and BIDs.
