Brandon James is recruiting a Bid Manager for roles in Leeds or Manchester. You will own the bid process end-to-end, develop winning strategies with client-facing teams, and drive compelling responses within tender windows.

The role emphasizes strong writing, project management, and cross-team coordination to maximise scores. The position requires experience across public/private procurement, construction/engineering sectors, and a proven track record in bid leadership.

Qualificações

• Understanding and experience of public and/or private sector procurement processes.
• Experience within construction, engineering, property or consultancy sectors.
• Experience in a Bid Manager, Senior Bid Writer, Senior Bid Coordinator or similar role.
• Strong project management and organisational skills with ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly and persuasively.
• Commercial awareness and understanding of bid strategies.
• Strong critical thinking and ability to work under pressure.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee end-to-end bid process from proposal planning to submission to win new projects.
• Lead pre-bid activities researching clients, competitors and market trends.
• Review tender documentation and create clear proposal plans aligned with deadlines.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage timescales, workshops and stand-ups.
• Edit inputs to ensure content is accurate, concise and compelling.
• Coordinate materials into a finished bid format and liaise with clients as needed.
• Lead post-submission reviews to identify improvement opportunities.
• Support development of case studies and bid content for ongoing KB management.
