Location: Glasgow/Scotland, on-site 1 day a week.

Salary: £70,000 + 37.5 hours, Private Health, Good Pension, Extra Benefits

We offer the opportunity for a Bid Manager to join one of the world's largest defence, rail, and engineering contractors. You will work on high-profile projects, supporting key customers, stakeholders, and government bodies. The role includes on-the-job training, development opportunities, and clear pathways into Contracts and Commercial Management roles.

The successful candidate will manage all aspects of the bid process, including development, capture, and solution development. You should be capable of leading customer and supplier engagement meetings at senior/board level.

The ideal Bid Manager will have experience in a similar role, preferably from a defence or military background, or be able to obtain Security Clearance. The role requires working from the office 2 days a week.

The Role:

• Developing effective customer relationships and negotiating independently.
• Managing bid management and bid processes.
• Maintaining supplier relationships.
• Training, development, and progression.

The Person:

• British Citizen.
• Experience in Bid Management/Bid Process.
• Rail industry experience.
