Our client, a well-established family-run business exclusively serving the Education Sector, is expanding its sales team and is on the lookout for a motivated Bid Manager.

The company takes pride in delivering top-notch Commercial Cleaning services to Schools, Colleges, and Universities across the UK. As they continue to grow, they're seeking a proactive individual to contribute to their success by driving sales growth in the public sector.

Are you the right person for the job?

  • Good knowledge of the tendering and bid writing process
  • Exceptional Communication Skills
  • Confident in carrying out site surveys at Schools in order to produce notes and full costing exercise to ensure an accurate proposal is produced
  • Flair and energy in presenting to clients at final decision stage when shortlisted
  • Meticulous Attention to Detail
  • A good understanding of Excel and formulas would be an advantage
  • UK Driving Licence
  • Proficient IT skills - familiarity with Apple devices preferred
  • Proven Sales Experience in Commercial Cleaning or soft FM desirable
  • Experience in the Education sector is a distinct advantage
  • Passionate about winning new business

What will your role look like?

  • Conduct site surveys, produce accurate costings, and craft compelling tender responses
  • Develop and deliver client presentations to showcase our exceptional services
  • complete SQs to secure new opportunities
  • Negotiate contracts to maximise company margins
  • Cultivate strong relationships with Procurement Consultants
