We are currently looking for a Bid Manager to join our growing team.

Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Bid Manager and Content Writer to lead the Competitive Tendering and Bidding processes on behalf of Ideal Health.

This is a crucial role within the organisation and involves working closely with Ideal’s client engagement team and practice leads to prepare and present effective bids and proposals. You will need to understand the nature of the work that Ideal does to support the NHS and communicate this effectively in tenders.

Responsibilities

1. Lead the bid process for tenders and larger proposals, working closely with clients and internal teams throughout the bid lifecycle to deliver compelling offers that help win business. Oversee the team during the bid process ensuring deadlines are met.
2. Collaborate with key team members and client organisations to gather information required for the bid.
3. Write high-quality tender responses and proposals by obtaining and editing content from internal subject matter experts.
4. Manage an effective bid library and content library.
5. Respond to client and stakeholder queries before, during, and after the bid submission. Ensure accurate record-keeping and full use of Ideal’s CRM to track progress and documentation related to bids.
6. Assist in managing procurement frameworks and review incoming requests for proposals.

Experience

• Experience in proposal writing and bid management.
• Ability to interpret and respond effectively to RFPs and related requests.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective relationships across the organisation and with multiple stakeholders.
• Comfortable working under tight deadlines.
