My client is a leading international civil engineering company, specializing in complex market segments such as Transportation, Energy, Tunnelling, Building, Civil, and Structural Engineering.
They are currently looking for a Bid Manager to join their business and expand their Work Winning team with a skilled and enthusiastic professional based in their London Paddington Office.
As the Bid Manager, you will drive the bid team to achieve successful outcomes for each allocated tender, following designated processes and best practices within the organization.
You will ensure that a coherent bid strategy is developed, working in conjunction with the Business Development Manager and Sector Director, and continually evaluate the winning strategy, directing team and resources to activities that will enhance the chances of bid success.
The role will require you to agree on bid budgets and monitor expenditure with the Head of Management.
You will also be responsible for arranging and coordinating tender and post-tender meetings and interviews with the Client and Employers' Agent.
About you
Within this role, you should have a sound knowledge of the UK construction market and relevant legislation related to Civil Engineering.
You must possess commercial awareness of different forms of contract and have strong presentation and client communication skills.
