Key responsibilities for this Bid Manager role:

1. Actively manage and win tender opportunities
2. Provide clear leadership and direction for all bid team members
3. Drive and energize the bid team to achieve successful outcomes for each tender
4. Develop a coherent bid strategy
5. Evaluate and adjust the winning strategy, focusing on activities that enhance bid success
6. Oversee tender commercial strategy
7. Agree on bid budgets and monitor expenditure with the Head of Management
8. Manage tender programs
9. Ensure adherence to company and group governance and procedures
10. Oversee designer briefs in conjunction with technical services
11. Participate in reviewing suppliers for tender inquiries
12. Work with the commercial manager to understand the route to deliver the margin set within the business plan
13. Determine which queries to raise in line with the tender strategy
14. Arrange and coordinate tender and post-tender meetings/interviews with clients/employers' agents
15. Manage and review quality submissions
16. Provide tender feedback once results are known
17. Handover successful tenders to the project delivery team

Experience required for this Bid Manager role:

Package offered for this Bid Manager role:

• Basic salary up to £85,000 depending on experience
