Qualifications

  • Ideally 10 years of experience as a Bid Manager in civil engineering/construction.
  • Ideally at least 5 years of experience working as a Bid Manager on rail and drainage projects.

  • Identify new bid opportunities.
  • Coordinate with the Estimator and report into the Rail Director; no pricing work involved.

Overview

Are you a Bid Manager with experience working on rail and drainage projects? Do you have experience in managing incoming bids and meeting bid deadlines?

Location: West Drayton, Maidstone, Swindon, Cardiff or Fleet office + 3 days working from home

Salary: £60,000 to £70,000 per annum DOE + car allowance circa £4800 + 10% bonus scheme

Responsibilities
  • Manage incoming bids and ensure bid deadlines are met on a portfolio of rail drainage and civils projects nationwide.
  • Identify new bid opportunities.
  • Coordinate with the Estimator and report into the Rail Director; no pricing work involved.
  • Collaborate across teams to support bid preparation and governance.
