Job summary

Award-winning Architectural firm in London, Birmingham or Leicester is seeking a Bid & Frameworks Manager. This role focuses on driving bid strategy, developing opportunities and helping to secure future projects and frameworks.

You will manage bids from identification to submission, collaborate with internal teams to develop compelling submissions, and monitor performance to drive continuous improvement within a successful bid function.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in bid management, frameworks or proposals.
• Strong written communication, organisation and project management skills.
• Experience of public sector procurement and bid portals.

Are you an experienced Bid Manager looking for your next career move?

We are working with an Award-winning Architectural company who are one of the UK’s leading multidisciplinary, architecture-led design practices and recognised in the AJ’s Top 100 UK practices and they are on the lookout for an ambitious, proactive Bid & Frameworks Manager to join what is a very successful team, as their long-serving Bid Manager prepares for retirement.

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a key role within the business, helping drive their bid strategy, developing new opportunities and helping to secure future projects and frameworks.

What will you be doing?

• Managing bids and framework applications from opportunity identification through to submission.
• Researching, writing and coordinating high-quality tender responses.
• Identifying new business opportunities, market trends and procurement frameworks.
• Working collaboratively with internal teams to develop compelling submissions.
• Monitoring bid performance, analysing feedback and identifying areas for improvement.
• Maintaining bid libraries, case studies, CVs and supporting documentation.
• Supporting the development of the bid team and wider business strategy.

What experience do you need?

• At least 5 years’ experience in bid management, frameworks or proposals.
• Strong written communication, organisation and project management skills.
• Experience of public sector procurement and bid portals.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Construction industry or consultancy experience would be a distinct advantage.
