The Company:

An exciting new opportunity for a Bid Manager to join a Tier 1 Main Contractor within the Coventry region.

My client works within the Civil Engineering Sector on schemes such as Water, Highways, Rail, and Aviation. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Bid Manager to join an established company and apply their skills to a well-known Main Contractor.

The Role:

1. The Bid Manager will be responsible for planning and managing all aspects of the bid process to maximize success.
2. Lead and inspire the bid team, working closely with Estimators, Planners, the Proposals team, Operational support, Designers, Supply chain partners, and other stakeholders.
3. Success will be measured by creating high-quality, winning bids that differentiate the company from competitors and exceed client expectations.
4. The role involves adaptable working with some travel to the Coventry office and potential co-location in other offices for key bids. Attendance at additional meetings or site visits may be required.

What we want from you:

• Previous experience as a Bid Manager within the Civil Engineering industry.
• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of industry processes.
• Degree-level education or equivalent.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Full UK driving license.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Live within or be able to commute to Coventry.

• £75,000 - £85,000 (DOE)
• £6,500 Car Allowance / Company Car
