Position: Bid & Data Manager
Location: Bournemouth – Office based
Hours: Monday to Friday – 8:45 am – 5:15 pm
Start Date: Immediate
Salary: Circa £35k per annum

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Bid & Data Manager to join their growing team. This role is critical in managing tender submissions, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and driving data-driven decision-making through robust reporting and CRM management.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Coordinate all tenders, acting as the primary point of control for procurement portals. Review tender documents and create detailed overviews to advise on bid/no-bid decisions.
  2. Draft tender submissions and calculations for high-profile clients within the solar PPA sector.
  3. Use procurement portals to identify new tender opportunities within the relevant industries & according to specific criteria.
  4. Collaborate with the Sales and Business Development (BD) teams to create a new Sales download pack from the CRM.
  5. Compile and present the monthly BD management report pack for review.
  6. Collect and analyse weekly forecast data for BD pipeline activities, ensuring accurate reporting and strategic planning.
  7. Design a pipeline report document that compares monthly performance metrics and highlights trends not available in standard CRM reports.
  8. Improve and update CRM reports to support the BD team’s objectives.
  9. Partner with the marketing team to provide data support for various projects.
  10. Analyse data from external sources and collaborate with stakeholders to optimize sales and project processes.
  11. Offer data analysis and reporting services to the BD team, including refining marketing lists and evaluating campaign performance.
  12. Prepare Heads of Terms (HoTs) and other financial documents as needed.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bid management, data analysis and CRM systems and will have the ability to work collaboratively across departments. We would also welcome applications from graduates with a year of relevant industry experience. You will be proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable, with a strong ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.

Minimum Requirements:
  1. Proven experience in bid management, data analysis, and CRM systems.
  2. Strong organizational and project management skills.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  5. Proficiency in data manipulation and reporting tools.
