Are you experienced with Bids and looking for a role where you can really make an impact?

We're looking for a Bid Executive to join our Consulting Team at Sopra Steria Next!

You will work with teams from Sopra Steria Next, suppliers and sub-contractors on multiple projects and bids, across a range of clients and customers in both the public and private sector.

The majority of the bids you will be working on will be human-centred consultancy projects from Discovery to Live.

This will be a hybrid role, with some travel to our offices when required.

What you will be doing:

  1. Deliver bids, confidently, to multiple clients and external audiences, working to deadlines.
  2. Develop bid plans in liaison with the sales lead and solution owner and manage them through to conclusion.
  3. Develop bid budgets and be responsible for leading to the budget.
  4. Write and edit/review customer proposal documents.
  5. Elevate our proposal content and increase our win rate.
  6. Contribute to our win strategy.
  7. Work with technology, business process, commercial and legal experts and provide sales process advice & guidance when required.

What you’ll bring:

  1. Demonstrable Bid Management experience, working across all stages of the entire bid process with a successful record of accomplishment, winning bids in a competitive market.
  2. Passionate about writing exceptional bids.
  3. Highly competent in use of MS Office tools.
  4. Demonstrate a sales orientation with an understanding of bid management best practice.
  5. Comfortable working independently and as a part of a team.
  6. Able to work to tight deadlines.
  7. Have a focus on solving customer problems and creating outcomes.
