Job description

I am working with one of the UK's top 50 law firms, known for excellence and employee satisfaction.

They are seeking a Bid Executive to join their team due to an internal promotion. This role can be based in any of their East Anglia offices: Cambridge, Norwich, Ipswich, or Chelmsford.

The firm offers a range of benefits, including a company bonus, hybrid working, contributory pension, and generous holiday allowance.

The main responsibilities include:

  1. Producing tender documents, proposals, and presentations as required, covering all offices, practice areas, and sectors.
  2. Advising on bid best practices.
  3. Using innovative thinking to promote key themes within tender proposals.
  4. Assisting with maintaining an opportunities pipeline in the CRM database for tender information and analysis.
  5. Managing the process of PQQs, RFIs, and ITTs from identification to post-submission.
  6. Supporting pitch teams with presentations, rehearsals, and critiques.
  7. Re-writing and editing content proposals, incorporating input from stakeholders.
  8. Utilising Pitch Perfect software and SharePoint for data input.
  9. Conducting web-based and client/market research to support bids.

Additionally, you will update the firm's legal directory and support the marketing team with sales collateral.

Ideal attributes include:

  • Proven experience in writing proposals, tenders, and presentations, preferably in professional services.
  • Self-motivated with proactive support skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility in working hours.
  • Strong team player qualities.

Attention to detail and proofreading experience are desirable.
