Job summary

Otis London is seeking an Estimator to manage tenders and budget estimates for major projects from our London office. You will generate quotes, track quotations, and ensure timely delivery of accurate bid components to meet customer commitments.

The role requires experience in project/bid preparation, a background in engineering or construction (elevator/escalator desirable), and a solid understanding of architectural/structural drawings. Onsite training in London may be needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a project/bid preparation role.
• Background in Engineering or Construction (Elevator/ Escalator desirable).
• Strong understanding of architectural/structural drawings.
• Proven ability to work to targets with a confident, clear telephone manner.
• Good IT skills and be highly organised.
• Problem solving with a solutions-oriented mindset.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Onsite training in our London office may be required.

Responsibilities

• Manage all tenders and budget estimates for major projects.
• Use quotation sources to generate quotes and estimates for customers.
• Track and follow up on all quotations.
• Build strong customer relationships.
• Stay updated on packages to ensure accurate quotations.
