Job title: Bid Director - Offshore Infrastructure Projects

Location: London Area, United Kingdom (Hybrid)

TGRC is seeking a Bid Director to join an investment firm, responsible for managing one of the world's largest offshore portfolios. Based in London, the team has diverse expertise in project development, engineering, regulation, construction, asset management, finance, and M&A.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Act as the bid leader for offshore projects during early project stages
  • Develop bidding plans to deliver timely, accurate, compliant, and competitive bids
  • Identify potential consortium partners, develop relationships, and formalize contracts
  • Lead cross-functional teams to produce high-quality deliverables
  • Create scope, timeline, budget, risk assessments, and business cases for bidding activities
  • Identify internal and external resources for successful bidding
  • Coordinate legal, technical, and insurance advisers
  • Gather bid inputs and lead drafting of bid documents
  • Serve as a conduit between the procuring authority and Transmission Investment
  • Research future project pipelines to plan bidding activities
  • Develop and deliver handover plans from Origination to Development during the preferred bidder stage
  • Establish procedures and processes to support bidding activities

Your profile:

  • Qualified beyond a bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 10 years of experience managing bidding programs for complex infrastructure projects
  • Experience leading diverse teams
  • Experience managing advisers and JV partners
  • Understanding of establishing and governing consortia
  • Knowledge of the offshore transmission sector is desirable
