Qualifications

• Professional training or certification in nail technology, with proven BIAB/Builder gel application experience.
• Strong practical skills in nail preparation, shaping, cuticle care, and safe removal techniques with attention to finish.
• Knowledge of salon hygiene, health and safety standards, and infection control and product use.
• Good communication and client care skills, including consultations and aftercare advice.
• Reliability and time-management skills to manage a full appointment schedule within a team environment.
• Basic familiarity with booking systems or salon software and comfortable handling payments and client records.
• Willingness to stay updated on nail trends, products, and techniques; experience in additional nail or beauty treatments is an advantage.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom; on-site salon experience in London or similar urban setting is beneficial.

Role Description The Biab nail technician will provide professional BIAB (Builder in a Bottle) manicures and related nail services to clients in an on-site salon environment located in London. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing the workstation, consulting with clients about their nail needs and preferences, performing BIAB applications, infills, removals, and maintenance, as well as shaping, buffing, and finishing nails to a high standard. The role involves maintaining strict hygiene and sanitation procedures, managing appointment times efficiently, and ensuring a friendly, respectful, and inclusive client experience. Additional duties may include advising clients on aftercare, supporting retail sales of nail care products, and keeping tools and equipment in safe working order. This is a full-time, on-site role.
