  2. Incident Management: Oversee the administration of Power BI workspaces, monitoring performance and resolving any incidents related to reports.
  3. Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into intuitive, visually compelling BI solutions.
  4. Agile Delivery: Contribute to Agile ceremonies, manage product backlogs, and ensure timely delivery of features.
  5. Training and Support: Develop training materials and lead sessions for end-users to ensure effective adoption of Power BI reports and dashboards.

Additional details:

  • Base Location: Swindon – Hybrid (1-2 days a week in the office)
  • 12-month fixed-term contract
  • Working Pattern: Full Time/36 Hours per week

What you should bring to the role:

  • Hands-on experience designing Power BI solutions and driving business adoption.
  • Proficiency in the Azure stack (ADF, Databricks, SQL) for seamless data integration and reporting.
  • Strong skills in building visually compelling and intuitive user interfaces.
  • Experience in reporting and analysis, preferably within the utility industry.
  • Ability to manage Power BI workspaces and resolve performance issues.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps tools for project management.

Essential Technical Skills & Qualifications:

  • Extensive hands-on experience with Power BI and creating data-driven insights.
  • Proficiency in Azure Data Factory (ADF), Databricks, and SQL for data integration.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

Desirable Skills & Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of M365 Admin Centre, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint administration.
  • Experience working in a utility industry setting and understanding its unique data needs.

What’s in it for you?

  • Offering up to £58,000 per annum.
  • Annual Leave - 26 days holiday per year, increasing to 30 with the length of service (plus bank holidays)
  • Generous Pension Scheme through AON
  • Access to benefits supporting health, wellbeing, and finances, including health MOTs, physiotherapy, counselling, Cycle to Work schemes, shopping vouchers, and life assurance.
