Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a BI Report Developer to join our team at Hunter Douglas. This role is part-time, working 22.5 hours a week, and is based at our head office, located in Colwick, Nottingham.

Do you have experience understanding and manipulating large data sets to deliver reports? Are you an expert using Power BI? This role is ideal for anyone that has an advanced skill set utilizing Power BI to develop and maintain reports, which is integral to the function of each of our brands.

As a BI Report Developer, here’s an idea of what you will be doing:

  1. Working with the business to deliver reports and dashboards in Power BI.
  2. Creation of new tables within BigQuery which can be used in reports and analysis.
  3. Creating and delivering against a project plan to replace many legacy spreadsheets with these new reports.
  4. Presenting new reports to stakeholders at all levels.
  5. Helping users get up the learning curve, answering questions on how the reports work and the underlying data.
  6. Being a team player within Commercial Finance and the wider Finance team.
What we need from you:
  1. Expertise in building reports and dashboards with a specialist BI tool.
  2. Advanced Microsoft Power BI skills are desirable.
  3. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  4. Experience with ETL processes.
  5. SAP experience is desirable.
  6. Strong analytical mindset.
  7. Experience with BigQuery, Dataform, and SQL.
  8. Understanding of data pipelines is advantageous.
  9. Experience working with international customers in different time zones.
