Join our team at Smurfit Westrock as a BI Developer- Systems & Data Team - Liverpool, Merseyside, United Kingdom, Merseyside, L3 1SF. We are a global leader in sustainable paper and packaging, committed to employee well-being, sustainability, and diversity.

The Role

We are seeking a BI Developer to join the Central IT Team, reporting to the Systems & Data Manager UK. You'll support over 35 UK manufacturing sites, developing database solutions using T-SQL and working with SQL Server technologies (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS). Your role involves liaising with users, automating business processes, and developing BI solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Criteria
  • Experience in database development, application support, or BI roles, preferably in industrial or manufacturing settings
  • Proficiency in T-SQL, including writing queries and stored procedures
  • Understanding of relational databases
Preferred Criteria
  • Experience with ERP systems, SQL Server 2016 or later, SSRS/Power BI, Azure, Python, and BI tools
Personal Attributes
  • Strong communication skills, customer focus, teamwork, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn
