BI Developer/Analyst - Manchester (3 days per week) (JOB-052025-277582)

We are seeking a BI Developer/Analyst to join our multi-disciplinary team responsible for delivering Insight & Analytics through dashboards and reports. The role involves the entire development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, data extraction, data modelling, report creation, deployment, and testing.

You will contribute to our Data & Analytics Strategy, focusing on tooling, simplifying operations, and providing actionable insights. The role includes creating ad-hoc reports, data requests, and supporting data-related needs. A passion for data and understanding of its use in performance analysis and opportunity identification are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain dashboards/reports using Power BI, SSRS, Excel, or stored procedures.
• Create core business metrics, KPIs, and reporting tables with T-SQL.
• Manage and improve data warehouse and analytics platforms, including ETL/ELT processes.
• Work with Salesforce to develop reports and dashboards.
• Improve data quality, database, and reporting efficiency.
• Design and model database architecture.
• Assist in migrating databases to the cloud.
• Ensure performant, secure code and follow change control processes.
• Gather requirements for new reports and data requests.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and deliver projects.
• Implement continuous improvement to provide excellent service.

Your Experience:

• Proficiency in Power BI or similar visualization software.
• Advanced Excel skills (Macros, VBA, PowerQuery).
• Experience with SQL Server 2012+ and Azure SQL Databases.
• Strong T-SQL skills, including performance tuning, indexing, stored procedures, and functions.
• Knowledge of data formats like XML and JSON.
• ITIL experience with incident, request, change, and problem management.

Familiarity with MS Office applications.
