BI Developer

5 days onsite in Woking

Are you a passionate developer with a strong background in BI tools and database management? We are looking for a talented BI Developer to join our team and help drive business success through insightful reporting and data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop, maintain, and optimize dynamic reports and dashboards using SSRS and Power BI to aid business decision-making.
2. Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from diverse sources with T-SQL, SSIS, and Azure Data Factory Pipelines.
3. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and create visually impactful data visualizations.
4. Optimize and manage Azure SQL databases to enhance performance and efficiency.
5. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across all reporting solutions.
6. Support seamless integration of data from various platforms and sources.
7. Work closely with cross-functional teams to strengthen business intelligence capabilities.
8. Maintain and improve data models to meet evolving business needs.
9. Troubleshoot and resolve data/reporting issues to ensure smooth operations.
10. Follow best practices for data governance, security, and compliance.
11. Provide support and training to end-users on BI tools and reporting functionalities.

Key Requirements:

1. Extensive experience in T-SQL and Azure SQL database management.
2. Expertise in SSRS and Power BI for developing and maintaining reports and dashboards.
3. Proficient in SSIS and Azure Data Factory Pipelines for data integration.
4. Strong experience in processing XML data is a plus.
5. Analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
6. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
7. A proactive approach to continuous improvement in data solutions.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field.
2. Relevant certifications in Microsoft BI technologies (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, Azure Data Engineer) are advantageous.
