BI Developer, Leicester, Thriving Manufacturing Business

Salary: Up to £65,000

Fruition IT are partnering with one of the leading manufacturing businesses in the UK, a company that truly sells itself. Due to system transformation, they're now looking to hire an experienced BI Developer with strong Databricks experience to showcase their business data!

How will you be spending your time?

As a BI Developer, you will use your experience to ensure the existing design, development, and expansion of a near real-time data platform integrating AWS and Databricks with the current on-prem system. You will develop ETL processes to integrate and transform data from multiple sources into a centralized data platform on AWS.

You will be responsible for developing and optimizing complex SQL queries and data pipelines, collaborating to gather and understand data requirements. You will design and build interactive and insightful dashboards and reports for stakeholders, as well as develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for data models, ETL processes, and BI solutions.

What will you be doing?

You will be required to have expertise in BI development, data engineering, or a similar role:

1. Proficient in SQL and Python for data manipulation and analysis
2. Extensive experience with Databricks and Apache Spark
3. Experience with ETL tools and processes
4. Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar
5. Proficient with both AWS and Azure
