In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the Trust's data-driven decision-making by designing, developing, and maintaining efficient and reliable database solutions. You will leverage your expertise to improve, maintain, and administer both the Trust's BI Data Warehouse and the associated Power BI reporting systems, utilizing advanced SQL and Data Architecture skills to manage processes within the current framework.

  1. Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
  2. Transform data using SQL Server and other tools to ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with business rules and NHS data standards.

  4. Work with Analysts and Developers to enable Power BI reporting.
  5. Collaborate with clinicians, technical, and non-technical stakeholders to meet their requirements.
  6. Ensure data supports internal and national reporting platforms.
  7. Implement data quality checks and controls to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  8. Contribute to data governance policies and procedures within the Trust.
  9. Identify and analyze risks to ensure business continuity, patient safety, and disaster recovery.
  10. Act as a subject matter expert in data architecture and domains for data-related projects.
  11. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data solutions that improve patient care.
  12. Support third-party suppliers with queries, integrations, and interfaces.
  13. Support NHFT’s Business Intelligence Service Transformation Programme in data management and integration.
