Qualifications

  • Master’s degree from a recognised UK university (preferably Russell Group) in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related STEM subject.
  • Proficient in advanced SQL and intermediate Python.
  • Strong experience with Power BI (certification desirable).
  • Hands-on knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and BigQuery.
  • Experience manipulating large datasets using tools such as R, or Excel Pivot Tables.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse large datasets to deliver financial and non-financial insights.
  • Use SQL and Python to clean, transform, and model data.
  • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards that communicate insights clearly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business problems and define data solutions.
  • Develop and maintain scalable, structured data workflows.
  • Support the design and measurement of KPIs, A/B testing, and data QA processes.
  • Present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders with clarity.

Overview

About the Role An exciting opportunity for a BI Data Analyst with a strong academic background and hands-on industry experience to join a growing data intelligence function within the real estate sector. You’ll work on building data-driven products and visualisations that support investment, development, and operational decisions across a portfolio spanning the UK and Europe. This role would suit a second-jobber with at least 2 years’ experience in a UK-based company, ideally within finance, or insurance, and a genuine passion for turning data into actionable insight.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multi-disciplinary teams
