Job summary

Convergence Group is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to turn data into clear insights and drive better decisions across the business. You’ll combine data from multiple sources, spot trends and present actionable findings that inform strategy and operations.

You’ll build dashboards using Power BI and Excel, automate reporting where possible, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data quality and governance. The role offers hybrid working in Solihull and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in a BI, data analysis, MI or similar analytical role.
• Solid experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau or similar.
• Advanced Excel skills with good Power Query and ideally Power Automate.
• Experience working with financial or commercial data and understanding of financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Bring together data from across the business to inform decisions.
• Build and improve dashboards and reports using Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate and Excel.
• Identify repetitive reporting and automate processes where possible.
• Improve data quality, consistency and governance with system owners.
• Translate business questions into practical data solutions for teams.
• Support change initiatives and system transitions with data insight.
• Identify opportunities to improve performance, efficiency and profitability.
