Job Description:

There is an entry-level opportunity at BGC European Gas desk in our London office. This is an exciting and dynamic opportunity to be part of a highly experienced team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Processing trades on the Energy trading desk throughout the day, including entering trades into the trading system, clearing trades on exchanges, and resolving trade queries.
• Maintaining the trading screen administration tools, such as setting up client credit risk profiles, creating trader logins, and setting up new markets as needed.
• Assisting with onboarding new clients, liaising with Legal on contractual revisions, arranging brokerage agreements, and setting up client accounts in internal systems.
• Reconciliation of trades at the end of the day to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Supporting daily operational and administrative functions of the desk.
