Job description

Our client in Oxfordshire is seeking an experienced Environmental Health Officer / Food Safety Officer to inspect 300 food premises across risk categories C, D & E for food hygiene, food standards, and health and safety, starting in April.

Responsibilities:

1. Inspect food premises across various risk categories.
2. Ensure compliance with food hygiene, standards, and health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• Higher Certificate in Food Control, or
• Certificate of Registration, or
• Diploma issued by the Environmental Health Registration Board (EHORB).

Requirements:

• Demonstrated competency in the inspection of Food Establishments (Cluster 4).
• At least 10 hours of Food Core CPD, as per the current Food Law Code of Practice and Practice Guidance.
• Relevant qualifications, CPD certificates, and registration certificates must be held on file before the contract starts.
