Job description

Our client in London are recruiting for Environmental Health Officers and Principal Environmental Health Officers to undertake food premises inspections, focusing on all risk food premises under the FSA Food Law Code of Practice.

These permanent roles are set to begin in the new year.

Responsibilities:

  1. Inspecting food premises and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
  2. Conducting risk assessments and implementing necessary actions.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Must hold one of the required baseline qualifications (e.g., Higher Certificate in Food Control, Certificate of Registration, or Diploma issued by the Environmental Health Registration Board).
  2. Must have the necessary registration.
  3. Demonstrate competency in the Inspection of Food Establishments (Cluster 4).
  4. Possess at least 10 hours of FoodCore CPD, as outlined in the current Food Law Code of Practice and Practice Guidance.
