YDance recherche un directeur de projet expérimenté pour diriger le programme de danse inclusif 'Beyond Horizons', soutenant des jeunes de tous horizons à travers l'Écosse. YDance is seeking an experienced and passionate dance professional to lead the national Beyond Horizons inclusive dance programme, supporting disabled and non-disabled young people across Scotland.
Beyond Horizons Project Director
Develop, lead, and manage the national Horizons inclusive dance programme
3 days (0.6 FTE), Fixed Term Until 31st March 2028
Main Duties
• Ensure implementation of all YDance policies and procedures, including risk assessment, safe-guarding, equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI), environmental policy, and health and safety
• Oversee and manage project budgets in collaboration with the Artistic Director
• Line manage teaching staff on projects, ensuring they are supported and meeting YDance expectations
• Work with partners across Scotland to raise the profile of inclusive practice and develop dance projects for children and young people
• Monitor quality assurance across YDance programmes and contribute to staff training and development
• Evaluate and report on project impact to the Artistic Director, funding bodies, and partners as required
• Collaborate with the Marketing department to extend the reach of YDance projects and raise the profile of the initiative
• Plan and deliver inclusive dance workshops with children and young people
• Develop and manage accredited courses and awards (e.g. Dance Leadership Awards, Personal Achievement Awards) where required
• Salary: £31,000 per annum, pro rata (based on 0.6 FTE)
• Hours: 22.5 hours per week, inclusive of a 30-minute paid meal break per day. Flexible working hours according to the demands of the post.
• Work pattern: 2 days in the Glasgow office, 1 day remote
• Line management: The post reports to the Artistic Director/CEO
• Travel: The role involves travel across Scotland; expenses will be reimbursed
• Holidays: 26 days annual leave (pro rata), including 5 days to be taken over the Christmas/New Year period, plus 11 public holidays (pro rata)
• Time Off in Lieu (TOIL) is available for additional hours worked. Overtime is not payable.
