Job summary

A global engineering consultancy in the UK is seeking a Powertrain Project Engineer / BEV Technical Project Leader for a 12-month contract. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for major vehicle programmes and work closely with cross-functional teams. Candidates should have a strong background in project management within the automotive sector and a comprehensive understanding of vehicle powertrains. Strong communication and problem-solving skills, alongside flexibility to travel within the West Midlands, are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Project Management role with a successful delivery track record.
• Proven stakeholder management experience.
• Methodical approach to work with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel independently across West Midlands.
• Knowledge of vehicle powertrains, both internal combustion and electrified systems.
• Understanding of commercial project delivery aspects.
