Brent Council is recruiting a Best Start Inclusion Practitioner to join the Best Start Family Hub network. You will work with families, practitioners and partner agencies to ensure children with emerging SEND receive timely support.
The role focuses on inclusion, early identification and delivering evidence-based programmes, with some evening/weekend work in support of Family Hub activities.
Salary range: £37,692 - £39,276 per annum inclusive of London weighting
Contract: Fixed term (expected end date March 2029)
Hours of work: 36 hours per week
Location: Best Start Family Hubs and other locations from time to time

Brent's Best Start Family Hubs are recruiting a dedicated and experienced Best Start Inclusion Practitioner (BSIP) to join our innovative Family Hub network. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our Experts at Hand Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) approach, working collaboratively with families, practitioners and partner agencies to ensure children with emerging or identified SEND receive the right support at the right time.
As a BSIP, you will play a key role in promoting inclusion, strengthening early identification of SEND, supporting practitioners and empowering families to access services that help children reach their full potential.
