Job Description:

An exciting job role has recently become available at Medway Council. They are looking for a new member for their Adults/DoLS Team.

Medway is seeking 2 locum BIAs to undertake Best Interest Assessments on behalf of Medway Council until 31.03.2025. Candidates should be at least 2 years post-qualified and have completed BIA refresher training within the last year.

• Ability to complete 3-4 assessments per week, depending on complexity
• Efficient and effective conduct of all duties related to Best Interests Assessments, following Medway DOLS Office policies
• Car driver with access to a vehicle is essential

• Social Work England registration
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Full UK driving license
• Post-qualified experience
• Degree or equivalent in Social Work
