Job summary

Spencer Ogden is seeking an experienced Site Manager to support a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Plymouth. You will oversee day-to-day site activities, coordinate contractors and ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

The role requires SSSTS or SMSTS certification, strong knowledge of site safety and construction procedures, and excellent communication and coordination skills.

• Experience managing sites on energy/ construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate daily site activities and contractors
• Ensure works are completed safely, on time and to specification
• Monitor site progress and address any issues or delays
• Conduct regular site inspections
• Maintain high standards of HSE and quality
• Liaise with project teams, contractors and stakeholders
• Ensure all site documentation and reporting is maintained
