Sustainable Talent is seeking a Project Manager/Project Engineer (BESS) for a 12+ month contract on a sizeable battery storage site in the West Midlands. You will coordinate site teams and subcontractors, ensuring safety, timeliness and budget adherence.

The role requires BESS project management/engineering experience with an electrical HV background and a good grasp of civils works. Start date is October 2026, with a competitive day rate and fast interview process.

Qualifications

• SMSTS accreditation or equivalent.
• CSCS accreditation.
• Strong health and safety awareness.
• BESS project management/project engineering experience with electrical HV background.
• Experience with civils works on large-scale battery storage projects.

Responsabilités

• Ensure work packages are carried out safely, on time and to budget.

Project Manager/Project Engineer (BESS) - Contract Opportunity

Project Manager/Project Engineer required for a contract opportunity within our Renewables and Energy sector, on a battery storage site in the West Midlands.

LOCATION: West Midlands

DURATION: 12 month+

START DATE: October 2026

• CSCS accredited
• Strong H&S awareness
• BESS Project Management/Project Engineering experience, with an electrical and HV background as well as a good grasp of civils works
• The project is a large-scale Battery Storage project - The successful candidate will be co-ordinating the site teams and subcontractors and making sure that operationally, all work packages are carried out safely, on time and to budget
