Job summary

Masdar Capital Management Limited is searching for a Grid Manager to support the delivery of end-to-end grid connection processes for the UK Battery Energy Storage System portfolio. This role includes managing grid connection applications and coordinating technical studies while ensuring compliance with UK regulations.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and at least 5 years of relevant experience. Strong communication and project management skills are essential as the role involves collaboration with various internal teams and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• At least 5 to 7 years of experience in power generation, distribution, or transmission industry.
• Experience in completing Grid Connection and Compliance of renewable energy assets.
• Expertise in DNO connections and UK Grid market.

Responsibilities

• Support BESS projects with grid related expertise.
• Work closely with the construction team on electrical system design.
• Engage in industry forums and consultations.

Skills

In depth knowledge of grid connection process

Solid understanding of UK Distribution & Transmission System

Ability to review power system analysis reports

Advanced project management skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
