Job summary

A pioneering battery storage company is seeking a Technical Manager to oversee the installation of Battery Energy Storage Systems. You will manage the entire project lifecycle and design the delivery and O&M models from scratch. Successful candidates will have a background in electrical project management and relevant electrical qualifications. The role offers a salary of £65,000–£80,000, hybrid working model, and opportunities for leadership as the company scales.

Qualifications

• Background in electrical project management, BESS commissioning, or HV/LV installation.
• Experience managing subcontractors and navigating DNO processes.
• Hands-on experience with grid-connected systems or commercial energy projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage installation of commercial Battery Energy Storage Systems across the project lifecycle.
• Lead G99 applications and act as the primary DNO liaison.
• Oversee subcontracted installers and maintain quality standards.
