RES is seeking an engineer with early-career consultancy experience to join their Advisory Services team in Glasgow. This role is pivotal in supporting battery energy storage projects across the UK and Europe, combining technical analysis with client-facing responsibilities.

We are expanding our Advisory Services team within Asset Management and are looking for an engineer with early‑career consultancy experience to work across the full lifecycle of battery storage projects. This client‑facing technical role suits engineers who enjoy combining technical analysis, commercial awareness and project delivery.
You will work with investors, developers and asset owners across BESS projects in the UK and Europe, supporting activities such as technical due diligence, Owner’s Engineer roles and advisory mandates.
You will deliver technical advisory services across battery storage projects from development through operations, including:
You will also support the growth of RES’ advisory offering by working closely with asset management, business development and operations teams.
This role is ideal for engineers with strong experience who want to move further into technical consulting and client advisory within the energy storage sector.
