Job summary

Premises Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Project Manager or Project Planner for a South East London specialist fabrication contractor. The role covers design through installation, with maternity cover initially and a 12-month contract, with strong potential to become permanent if workload allows.

You will manage programmes, budgets and teams, create Gantt charts, coordinate design, workshop and installation, and liaise with clients and contractors.

Qualifications

• Experience managing or planning construction projects.
• Experience with MS Project or similar programming software.
• Knowledge of fabrication, construction logistics, JCT contracts, SolidWorks, Rhino or Grasshopper is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Managing project programmes, timelines and budgets.
• Creating, updating and managing Gantt charts / project programmes.
• Coordinating design, workshop, fabrication and installation teams.
• Liaising with main contractors, clients, consultants and suppliers.
• Monitoring progress against programme and identifying potential delays.
• Managing change control, variations and scope changes.
• Planning site logistics, deliveries, lifting and installation activities.
• Reviewing drawings and understanding 3D design information.
• Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to the required quality.
