Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment are supporting a well-established bespoke joinery and woodworking company in Morley, West Yorkshire, to recruit an Estimator responsible for costing joinery projects from enquiry to final account. You will interpret drawings, calculate material quantities and labour, and liaise with clients and production teams to ensure accurate estimates and profitable delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in a bespoke joinery manufacturing environment.
• Experience in costing projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate estimates and quotations for bespoke joinery projects.
• Interpret technical drawings, specifications and design information.
• Calculate material quantities, labour requirements and manufacturing costs.
• Assess machine shop, bench joinery, finishing and polishing hours.
• Liaise with clients, architects, designers and project teams throughout the estimating process.
• Monitor project variations and accurately record additional works.
