Job summary

Aureol Global Connections is seeking a skilled Carpenter/Joiner to join our site and workshop teams in the UK. You will read technical drawings, measure, cut, shape, and install doors, frames, staircases, and bespoke joinery to a high standard.

Responsibilities include carrying out first-fix and second-fix carpentry, using hand and power tools safely, and collaborating with other trades to meet project requirements. A relevant qualification or apprenticeship is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Carpenter/Joiner or similar role.
• Skilled in first- and second-fix carpentry.
• Ability to read technical drawings and measurements.
• Experience with bespoke or finish joinery is an advantage.
• Physically fit for site work and heights as required.
• Trade certification or apprenticeship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble timber and other materials accurately.
• Manufacture and install doors, window frames, staircases, and other joinery.
• Carry out first-fix and second-fix carpentry and joinery work.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely.
• Fit and install timber components on construction sites and in workshops.
• Ensure joinery is aligned, level, and finished to a high standard.
• Repair and adjust existing timber structures and fittings.
• Collaborate with other trades and site supervisors to meet project needs.
• Maintain tools and keep the work area clean and safe.
