Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking an Assistant Estimator (Bespoke Joinery) for a Rugby-based role. The successful candidate will assist the Senior Estimator, prepare documentation to support accurate cost estimates, and review client enquiries for key project details.

You will maintain supplier relationships and assist with client meetings, with a Monday to Friday, 8:00–17:30 schedule. Salary ranges from £28,000 to £32,000 plus training and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in estimating for joinery or woodworking projects.
• Solid understanding of joinery practices and cost drivers.

Responsibilities

• Support Senior Estimator throughout the estimating process.
• Create documents to aid production of estimate reports.
• Assess client enquiries to gather key project information.
• Maintain and develop relationships with suppliers.
• Assist with client meetings to discuss project requirements.
• Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00–17:30.
