Job summary

Barker Ross are recruiting for an experienced Paint Sprayer in Melton Mowbray to support a busy client on high-end Christmas projects throughout October. You will be spraying and finishing bespoke items crafted for retail displays and in-store activations.

Candidates should have proven paint spraying experience, especially wet spraying, with strong attention to detail and the ability to produce consistent, high-quality finishes in a workshop/production setting.

Qualifications

• Previous professional paint spraying experience.
• Experience with wet spraying.
• Good knowledge of surface preparation and finishing.

Responsibilities

• Preparing products and surfaces ready for spraying.
• Wet spraying bespoke joinery and display components.
• Applying primers, paints, lacquers and finishes.
• Mixing and preparing paints where required.
• Sanding, filling and preparing surfaces.
• Achieving a smooth, high-quality finish.
• Carrying out touch-ups and finishing work.
• Checking completed items for quality and consistency.
• Working alongside joiners and the wider production team.
• Keeping the spray area clean and organised.
