Job summary

Display Logic Ltd, a specialist display manufacturer, is seeking a Bench Hand Joiner in Halifax for full-time, on-site work. You will manufacture bespoke display units and components from technical drawings, measuring, cutting, assembling, and finishing joinery with hand and power tools.

Collaboration with design and production teams ensures deadlines are met in a busy workshop. The role requires reading CAD-generated specs, strong carpentry skills, attention to detail, and safe tool handling.

Qualifications

Strong carpentry skills with bespoke joinery experience.
Proficiency using hand tools safely for precision cutting and assembly.
Ability to operate power tools following safety procedures and workshop best practices.
Experience working with curved work, solid surface, veneer and laminating.
Ability to read and work from technical drawings and CAD specifications.
Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to quality.
Experience in shopfitting or display manufacturing is desirable.
Essential is a vocational joinery/carpentry qualification or apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

Manufacture bespoke display units and components from technical drawings and specifications.
Measure, cut, assemble and finish joinery work using hand and power tools.
Collaborate with design and production teams to meet project deadlines.
Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment and perform quality checks on finished products.
