Job summary

Cameron Clarke Associates t/a talent-finder in Wigan, Lancashire, is seeking a Bench Hand Joiner to join a busy workshop. You will assemble bespoke joinery products such as windows, doors, stairs and counters, ensuring drawings and quality standards are met.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:15 pm. You should have demonstrable experience with hand tools and woodworking machinery, good attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship.

• Demonstrable experience using hand tools and woodworking machinery.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assemble bespoke joinery products including windows, doors, stairs and counters.
• Ensure quality expectations are achieved in line with drawings and plans.
• Ensure allocated operation times are achieved.
• Follow personal health and safety requirements and those of colleagues.
• Work to standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• Identify and understand drawing requirements.
• Take full ownership and responsibility for your work.
