Benefits Specialist

Our Client, a leading global manufacturer, is keen to recruit an experienced Benefits Specialist. This is a new, permanent Benefits/Reward job, offering a very attractive salary & benefits, hybrid working, great flexibility and a fantastic work environment with brand new offices in the Greater Belfast area.

The successful Benefits Specialist will report to the Senior Benefits Consultant and be responsible for maintaining a range of benefit programmes. The Benefits Specialist will have a key role in benchmarking, researching, renewal and communication of benefit programmes within the company's Total Reward Structure.

The Role

  • Collaborate on employee benefit related knowledge and skill sets to determine current benefit trends and form comparisons
  • Support the design and implementation of programs eg accident and health insurance coverage, retirement and pension plans etc
  • Participate in local and global surveys on current benefit trends, pricing and policies
  • Collaborate on communicating the benefits program and policies across the company
  • Ensure proper communication regarding any changes of updates
  • Participate in modelling cost analyses of various program or policy updates
  • Sumit data and analyse results from benefits related market surveys
  • Communicate effectively with individual employees regarding their benefits
  • Provide support to the Total Rewards Team on global projects

The Person

  • Previous experience working in benefits/rewards OR previous experience within a generalist HR role with experience of managing and maintaining employee benefits/reward
  • Proficient in MS programs, especially MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent data analysis skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good organisational skills
